The Women’s Policy Alliance has documented this gap, in black and white, in our soon to be released Missouri Women’s Report.

If you would like to be among the first to receive the report and hear experts speak on how Missouri can close this equity gap, please join us for a news conference on:

March 7, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. in The Capitol Rotunda in Jefferson City.

Key findings of the Missouri Women’s Report:

women earn less and are more likely to live in poverty than men,

women face more obstacles than men when trying to get the health care we need,

women do not reap the same benefits from their college educations as men, and

women run into more roadblocks than men when seeking public office.

You will find detailed evidence of these findings in our unprecedented county-by-county report. The Missouri Women’s Report reveals how women are doing compared to men in four areas:

Health and Well-being

Workforce and Education

Economic Justice

Civic Participation

Help Missouri become a state where women have equity with men.

How? By urging your elected officials to support the public policy recommendations included in the Missouri Women’s Report. If enacted these reforms would create greater equity for women in Missouri.

If you would like to order a copy of the report contact us today.
